The Wythe County Board of Supervisors is seeking proposals for engineering services related to the construction of a waterline extension on Rickey Road in Wythe County, Virginia. The project extends an 8-inch waterline and will serve 12 customers. Also included will be control valves, fire hydrants, grading and seeding, and erosion and sediment control measures. The engineering services required include: basic services, to include preliminary and final design documents, contract award documents, construction engineering oversight and coordination; and additional services such as easement assistance and permitting (state, federal, and other regulatory agencies). The successful offeror will work closely with the Wythe County Engineer and will be the Engineer-of-Record for the project. A preliminary engineering report has been developed and is available for review. Preliminary construction estimates are in the $200 thousand to $500 thousand range.
Interested offerors are requested to provide five copies of qualifications and references on Standard Form (SF) 330.
Proposals will be received at the office of Stephen D. Bear, Wythe County Administrator, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, VA 24382 until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time Friday, March 16th, 2018.
All elements of this project will comply with US Department of Agriculture Rural Development guidelines.
Wythe County encourages the participation of MBE/WBE type firms.

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Wythe, Virginia requests independent certified public accountants to submit proposals to enter into a term contract to perform a financial audit and prepare an annual cost allocation plan for the fiscal years ended June 30, 2018 through 2022.
To be considered for selection, the Auditor shall submit a complete response to the Request for Proposal. Click here for the full Scope of Work. One (1) original and five (5) copies of the proposal shall be submitted to Stephen D. Bear, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, VA 24382. The proposal should clearly be marked "Proposal for Audit Services." The deadline for submission is 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018. Proposals received after this time and date shall be returned unopened.
