A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 6:05 p.m., or as soon as practicable thereafter, in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia 24382 to hear public comment on the proposed budget amendment.

The JPSA is seeking BIDS for construction services for installing steel plate. Steel will have to be fabricated and installed onto the exiting concrete walls of the loading area.

Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 pm July 20, 2022 at 169 Kents Lane Wytheville, VA 24382 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. 

Bids shall be marked “JPSA Steel Work” and marked to the attention of Tim Frye. 

JPSA encourages MBE/WBE type firms to submit proposals. 

The JPSA of Wythe Co & Bland Co reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Wythe County Board of Supervisors is accepting bids for grass mowing on sixteen (38) different sites. A full copy of the bid specifications including bid sheet and maps may be obtained at this LINK. 

All bid proposals should include the mowing bid sheet (filled out with prices), contractor’s license, and insurance certificate. These documents should be in a sealed envelope marked B&G Grass Mowing and sent to the attention of Martha Collins, 340 South 6th Street, Wytheville, VA 24382. Bids should be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on June 17, 2022. All or some bids may be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the Board of Supervisors.

The Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to hear public comment on the the proposed County Budget (which includes the School Board Budget) for Fiscal Year 2022-23 and on the proposed Tax Levy for Calendar Year 2022. The public hearing will be held in the Board Room of the Administration Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia. CY22 Tax Levy

The Wythe County Board of Supervisors is seeking BIDS for construction services for a Renovation project at 440 West Franklin Street, Wytheville, VA 24382. The initial project is installation of a truss system roof over the existing flat roof.
