Notice is given that the Board of Supervisors of Wythe County, Virginia (the “Board”), will hold a public hearing on the proposed issuance of bonds, at one time or from time to time, by Wythe County.  The estimated maximum amount of the bonds is $2,200,000 in the aggregate.   The proposed use of the proceeds of such bonds is to pays costs of an addition to the County office building and related improvements.  The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, and at which persons may appear and present their views on the proposed bond issue, will be held at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on September 8, 2020, before the Board in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, located at 340 South Sixth Street in Wytheville, Virginia.

In compliance with the Code of Virginia and amendments thereto, the Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing to consider Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance 2000-02, “Meals Tax Ordinance of Wythe County, Virginia”. The Board of Supervisors will hear comments from citizens concerning the proposed amendment.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Wythe County Office Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia.

In compliance with the Code of Virginia and amendments thereto, the Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing to consider an ordinance entitled, “Parking Ordinance of Wythe County, Virginia”. The Board of Supervisors will hear comments from citizens concerning the proposed ordinance. 

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Wythe County Office Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia.
